Jada comes to Connie’s condo as Melinda battles to free herself and Connie plans her best course of action. At the condo, Connie carries a morning meal plate to Melinda, who struggles with her restrictions. A happy Connie anticipates catching wind of Gabby undermining Stefan, which will be the last nail in the final resting place of their marriage. Then at that point, Connie and Lee will finally have retribution on the two of them. She affectionately views it, cardboard-like, as dread washes over Melinda’s face.
Stefan blasts into EJ’s room as the latter sits in bed alone with his phone, holding a roll of pipe tape. Stefan yells he will never again endure Gabby’s ludicrous games, nor will he let her take the house from him. EJ contemptuously says he’ll pass it along. All the more distinctly, he tells Stefan he’s the main party at fault for the annihilation of his marriage. When he insults Stefan about laying down with Gabby, Stefan whips the roll of tape at EJ as a warning shot. EJ laughs as Stefan stomps out.
While in the recreation area, Stephanie calls Gabby. She wants to invite her to Everett’s commemoration and needs her phone number. Gabby consents but finds it odd that Connie never mentioned knowing Everett. Considering how he treated her brother, Stephanie abundantly apologizes. Gabby hopes Everett spoils and damnation and hangs up.
Ava approaches a seething Gabby outside the bar. More Lacy Chabert reviews Hallmark plus reality series. Jada sits by Rafe’s hospital bedside as he remains unconscious and on a ventilator. She tells him Gabby helped her interpret their mom’s recipes. She really needs him to awaken so she can cook his favorite dishes. Paulina enters offering her support. Jada requests that she stay with Rafe while she goes to Everett/Bobby’s commemoration service. She has a feeling that somebody should be with Rafe today while she’s gone. When Paulina questions why Jada needs to go to the assistants, Jada says she still can’t accommodate the man she cares about, the person who did this to Rafe.
A fit EJ comes down the stairs to the DEA family room where Johnny gets a baked good and espresso. EJ condescendingly raises his work on body and soul, noting he needs to start somewhere, but daytime dramas never snared him. The malicious twins loaded circles of drama and reworks did his head in. Stefan ponders one sibling laying down with another sibling’s significant other. Is that a storyline in Johnny’s show? With a mouth full of croissant, Johnny inquires if he missed something. Stefan advises Johnny to ask his dad and leaves.
“What did you do, father?” Johnny asks, startled. EJ timidly sips his espresso outside the bar. Ava argues Stefan’s case to Gabby, perhaps she can give him another chance. Gabby counters that’s not what Stefan needs anymore and stalks off as Connie cuts up Melinda’s food in the room. Stephanie calls to invite her to Everett/Bobby’s dedication service. Leo told her they were friends. Connie says Leo has her mistaken for someone else; she does not know whoever it is and suddenly hangs up.
Melinda carefully reminds Connie that she admitted all her malicious deeds to her, yet swore she wouldn’t tell anybody. Connie yells that she can’t rely on that menacingly, gets the knife from the breakfast plate. At the hospital, Paulina fills in a still-senseless Rafe on Brady. She knows something’s not right. Gabby enters and lets Paulina free from her meeting obligations abruptly, advising her that if she hadn’t given EJ the DA work, he would never have been able to send her to jail. Without proof, she’d still be detained if Stefan hadn’t intervened. Growing deeply emotional, she suddenly stops her tirade.
“Disregard what I said at the DEA Manor,” Johnny says he understands why Stefan could lay down with Ava but questions what EJ was thinking by laying down with Gabby. EJ discusses retribution, but Johnny believes it’s about Nicole. EJ tells his son it’s nothing he should worry about. Johnny clashes, saying he adores EJ but he’s the main party at fault for his marriage going to pieces. If he keeps this up, he’ll lose his entire family.
Jada meets Stephanie at the park, holding Everett’s ER. Stephanie explains why the few people in Everett’s life couldn’t be there. She then informs her about her odd interaction with Connie. Jada finds it odd that Connie never knew about Everett, since his name has been all around the papers. After pondering over it, they head to a quiet part in the park to let Everett go in the room.
Melinda desperately conjures Lee’s wishes of not wanting Connie to kill her. Connie yields, keeping in mind him smothering whales. Melinda asks what Connie’s plan is for her. Connie needs to seek her final retribution on Gabby before she can sort that out. When she does, Lee can find happiness in the hereafter, and they can all move on. Connie clears off the knife and places it in her handbag in case she needs to quiet down for good. When they literally catch each other in the square, Ava inquires why Stefan wouldn’t want Gabby back. Stefan tells her she laid down with EJ. As they sit and discuss it, Stefan tells Ava he values her friendship. She responds with the same feeling.
Ava hears Jada advising someone on the phone to get her Connie’s location. Ava plans to tell her that Connie lives in Lee’s old apartment and that Connie’s a fraud whose resume is a complete lie. In fact, Melinda planned to fire her, but Melinda’s disappeared from attendance in Rafe’s hospital room. Gabby apologizes for taking her frustrations out on Paulina. She requests that Paulina stay with Rafe a bit longer since she needs to get to work. She tells Rafe she loves him in Spanish and leaves.
At the house, EJ receives his divorce order from Nicole, holding the ear. Stephanie cries in the park, “Goodbye, Everett,” she murmurs. Melinda struggles with her restrictions in the room as Jada knocks on the apartment’s front door. Connie comes to work and gets asked about her retribution on Stefan. Gabby reveals she slept with EJ. Now she’ll take Stefan for everything he has and maybe continue things with EJ. Gabby beams over enjoying a luxurious lifestyle. Connie powers a grin and turns. She takes out the knife from her handbag.
Not for a long time, skank Steve’s dubious about Abigail. Steve Johnson is suspicious about Abigail Dea after Stephanie Johnson. Abigail Kleene transferred Abigail’s account about talking to Kayla Johnson on the phone, and she hadn’t heard from her. Steve became dubious. Days of Our Lives spoilers: Stephanie Johnson walked in on Abigail Dea talking to Mark Green. The specialist, Stephanie, strolled in and saw who Abigail was talking to on the phone wasn’t her mother Kayla; it was Dr. Mark Green.
Jonah Robinson’s counterfeit Abby needed to come up with some sort of explanation to justify her actions. When Stephanie relayed the experience to her mother and father, Steve suspected foul play immediately and decided to visit her. He goes to talk to the woman and after he leaves, says out loud that is not Abigail. Steve now will do everything within his power to figure out the truth, why she’s mimicking his niece, and what has happened to Abigail’s body.
DOOL spoilers: Unfortunate Chad Dea is being duped, but why? Unfortunate Chad Dea, Billy Flynn, is being duped, but why? Steve needs to figure out what’s behind the trickery other than Clyde Weston, James Reed, being a liar. Is this another contender for DeMara cash, similar to the plotting counterfeit companion of Victor Kiyak, John Aniston? After the Kiyak cash or are they just playing a very sick joke? Furthermore, why was John Black, Drake Hogestyn, seized from Greece and put in the same room counterfeit Abby had been? There must be an association, and Steve is determined to track it down. The DNA test between Jack Dea, Matthew Ashford, and this lady had to have been fake. Steve won’t let his brother and Chad be bamboozled in such a brutal manner. Maybe the initial step is to figure out what has happened to Abigail’s body.
Days of Our Lives spoilers: Steve Johnson is unusually reminded of Bo Brady’s body being taken. Steve is unusually reminded of Bo Brady’s, Peter Reckell’s, body being taken by Megan Dea, Miranda Wilson, which they knew nothing about for years. He can’t help but wonder about an association. He’s not ruling out that Abigail might be alive or a type of it somewhere, just like Bo was for such a long time with nobody aware, the same thing happened with Stefan Dea, Brandon Beemer, until Jake Deera, Brandon Beemer, was killed, and Stefan got his heart. There are many avenues Steve should investigate, but he’s not giving up. The sham must be uncovered. Most importantly, he needs to find out where Dr. Wilhelm Rolf, Richard Wharton, went and check if he’s needed at all.
