Days of our Lives Weekly Spoilers Aug 12-16: Brady Framed & Chad’s Desperate

Hey, Days of Our Lives fans! Wehave got your daily spoilers for next week, Monday, August 12th through Friday, August 16th. Brady Black is framed, and Chad DiMera is desperate, among all the other juicy spoilers.

So, Johnny DiMera surprises Bonnie Lockhart over common goals and interests. That’s kind of an interesting time to be having a conversation. We know that Johnny is going to be working on Body and Soul, and Bonnie was just talking to Hattie, who has a role on Body and Soul. I feel like Bonnie is probably going to end up on the soap opera too, so I’m interested in this conversation between them. And I also like when they have two characters that you don’t ever see in scenes have a little chat.

And speaking of Body and Soul, Kate Roberts is very stressed over issues with their soap reboot, and she complains to Roman Brady about what they’re dealing with. I think you should probably expect some more offensive dialogue. They seem to be using this Body and Soul thing to make a parody about the real-life lawsuit that Days of Our Lives producers are facing from Ari Zucker, who was fired as Nicole because of backstage stuff that was happening—just all the alleged harassment, all that stuff. Fans are not liking that they are kind of poking fun at a very sensitive real-life issue, but I think we have a lot more of it to come. It’s tone-deaf, but it’s not going to stop.

Leo Stark mistakes Hattie Adams for his therapist, Marlena Evans. Remember, he already ran into her, and this is going to go on, and I just don’t understand how he mistakes them—they are such distinct personalities.

Plus, Ava Vitali and Stefan DiMera decide they are just going to stop feeling guilty about their little one-night thing, put it behind them, just never speak of it again, and act like it doesn’t exist. That sounds good, but Connie is a problem.

So, Chad is desperate to prove that this new girl, played by AnnaLynne McCord, who says her name is Marin, is really Abigail, and he tries a drastic move to restore her memory. We’re supposed to be getting a scene where she sees Thomas and Charlotte and mistakes them—or, I mean, obviously, if she says she’s not Abby, she’s not going to know who they are, but that’s part of it. So, Chad really wants to prove that she is his dead wife, and he tries something drastic. What’s really weird about this to me is that Marin said she had facial plastic surgeries, but Abby—what happened to her getting stabbed didn’t hurt her face, so it’s just all very sketch. We’ll see how it goes.

Tate and Holly make the most of their time together because summer is winding down, and Fiona Cook and Brady Black go on another bender. This night of drinking doesn’t seem to take place in her hotel room—or it doesn’t end there. They get into a car, they are drunk, they are driving, and it looks like it may be Fiona behind the wheel. We’ll see, but this is not going to go well.

Meanwhile, Xander and Sarah bask in their happiness to finally be husband and wife again, but it looks like tragedy is about to strike.

Wednesday, August 14th, 2024: Episode 253 of the current season

Xander cannot find Sarah, and he is searching for her. That’s not very good because that same day, Fiona drags Brady away from the scene of a crime. Now, I don’t have a specific spoiler on this, but my leaker told me that they hit Sarah, and then they flee. She’s going to be okay—she will be fine, and Xander will find her, and they are still happily married months from now in scenes they’re shooting. But nonetheless, there will be drama—something scary that comes up to taint the fact that they just got married, and then these drunks have run her down.

Mystery Woman Marin gets a DNA test on Wednesday to confirm whether or not she’s Abby. DNA tests in Salem, I think we all know, cannot be trusted, and if Clyde’s reach is so far that he could steal her and somehow kidnap John in Greece and all that, certainly he could tamper with the test. So, looking forward to seeing those results.

And Leo is still mistaking Hattie for Marlena midweek, and he decides that his shrink has a split personality. Okay.

Thursday, August 15th, 2024: Season 59, Episode 254

Brady wakes up very, very hazy—very unclear on what happened the night before when he was out with Fiona. Just an interesting side note: Eric Martsolf did an interview recently and said that Brady and Fiona, that their fling is not a one-night thing. It’s an ongoing fling, and he was laughing about it because he said he just found out that Xander is his uncle, I guess, so he’s sleeping with his uncle’s mother. And it’s just very, very interesting because he also mentioned in this same interview about when he got involved with Kristen, who is an ex of his dad. So, it’s just—it’s so messy, messy.

Meanwhile, Jada tells Paulina about a new investigation, so I’m assuming that is the hit-and-run that risks Sarah Horton’s life, and Fiona panics and tries to erase evidence of her crime. That’s why I think she’s behind the wheel, and I do think that she’s going to set Brady up to take the fall if and when it all comes out, and they get caught for what they did.

Meanwhile, Kristen takes Rachel Black and goes over to Marlena to talk to her, and I’m certain it’s because Brady has been missing visitation because he’s been out boozing and messing around with Xander’s mom. I’m sure Marlena will be concerned, but still, nobody has realized that he’s drinking, so this is—this is bad.

Friday, August 16th, 2024: Season 59, Episode 255

Jennifer Horton is back in Salem. This will be Cady McClain for this appearance, and she wants to know more about this woman, Marin. Now, if Jennifer’s back, I’m curious if she’s back because the DNA test came up a match, or because it’s not a match, but she did have Abigail’s bracelet, and maybe they think she knows something, but she’s an amnesiac—because, you know, Days always needs an amnesiac on the character canvas.

Melinda Trask tells Ava that Constance VanEtten is a fraud. Remember, Melinda is already on high alert about her because she knows she was obsessed with Li, and now she’s moved into the apartment that he died in. If somebody gets in there and sees that cardboard cutout of him, that’s just going to be a huge red flag.

Gabi Hernandez gets pushy with Kristen DiMera—she is angry at her. That should probably go over like a lead balloon. And Chad tries to clear things up with his brother, Stefan DiMera.
