Happy times are ahead for the Hortons as they head home, and Nicole, who finally learns that Jude is the son she was told died shortly after his birth, according to Days of our Lives spoilers preview. However, it’s a horrendous week for Eric, who gets assaulted and loses his baby boy. Here’s your DAYS video preview for the week of May 20 – 24, 2024.
Heading Home
Good news for Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes), Doug (Bill Hayes), and Chad (Billy Flynn). They’re all finally heading back to the Horton house, which has been fully restored since the fire.
“We’re going home,” Chad tells a delighted Julie. She springs up from the sofa and repeats, “We’re going home.” Then the twosome busts out with an impromptu happy dance and chant, “Home, home, home,” as Doug looks on.
Double Identity
Everett (Blake Berris) – or is it Bobby? – runs into Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) and Eric (Greg Vaughan), who are out having a few drinks. Suddenly, Everett sucker punches Eric, and he crashes to the floor as a stunned Sloan watches.
Flash forward to Jada (Elia Cantu) at the police precinct, saying, “The perp’s name is Robert Stein.” Then, she and Rafe (Galen Gering) place Everett in a holding cell. As Everett/Bobby lies alone in that cell, he pounds his fist into the cot in frustration.
Soon, Marlena (Deidre Hall) arrives at the cop shop and attempts to explain what’s going on to Rafe and Jada. “They both live inside his head,” she says about the two very different personalities Everett is afflicted with.
Kiss and Tell
Across town at the DiMera mansion, EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) walks in on Nicole (Arianne Zucker), planting a kiss on Eric, and it sends him in an unexpected direction. He heads straight to see Sloan (Jessica Serfaty). “I’m here to take this baby,” he tells her, referring to baby Jude.
Backed into a corner, Sloan has no choice but to acquiesce to EJ’s demands. Later, she breaks the devastating news about the baby switch to Eric. At least the part that EJ instructs her to tell Eric.“It’s time I tell you the truth,” begins Sloan. “Jude is not ours. He’s Nicole and EJ’s.”
A tear falls down Eric’s cheek as he tries to come to terms with the fact that he has to give up the son that he’s raised from birth. Then the camera fades to black as Eric obviously heads to see Nicole and reveals, “Jude is your son.” Nicole is shocked and mutters, “What?”
